What Is Mantrailing?

Mantrailing is the sport of teaching pet dogs to follow a specific human’s scent trail to find a hidden person.

dogs are taught to take scent from a scent article
that the hidden person has worn, sat on our touched,
and then use their nose to locate them in the wider
environment.

Mantrailing is a team sport, with dog and handler
working as one to find their target. All trails are
conducted on a long line, and only one dog is worked
at a time, making it ideal for Reactive dogs.

Any Dog can learn how to

mantrail, regardless of their age,

breed or ability. All you will need

is a harness, a long line, A food or

toy reward, and a dog with a nose.
